High Performance Computing Lab
Students met with Garry Griggs and James Laveri, Potsdam alumni, to help to setup the HPC lab for the next semester. Students engaged in the project learned the following: how to setup LDAP servers, and setting up a beowulf cluster.

Students met with Jesse Peplinski and Matt Coupal help to contribute to build the ACM website. This will officially kick off next semester. Students will learn the following: Web Development, Git, Github, Working on a team, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, MaterializeCSS, Issue Tracking.

Hack Potsdam
Jesse Peplinski created the homepage for Hack Potsdam, SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson University’s 24 hour hackathon. Students were encouraged to help.

HTC VIVE / Virtual Reality

VR Lab
The chapter acquired an HTC vive that will allow students to work on projects in Virtual Reality. Students will learn: how to create apps and games for the VR and OpenVR which is a platform for development in VR. The HTC Vive is cutting edge technology in this field.
